This morning I was too tired to exercise, but I did get on the Wii Fit to weigh in. For the first time since I started working out at the end of November my BMI was below 30 which finally put me out of the obese range and down to overweight. I'm so excited. It's very motivating and let's me know there are great things ahead and that I can reach these goals I set and become a healthier person. I definitely feel better since I started this journey. I'm enjoying trying new things and finding I don't miss Coke and junk food like I thought I would. Thank you to everyone who has shown their support on FB today. It makes me feel good to have a strong support system behind me.

Whata Wednesday
I started the day off right. I woke up at 5:30am to workout. My plan was to do Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred on Comcast On Demand. I've done it about 5 times in the past month. It's about 30 minutes of very intense workout. It's three rounds of 3 minutes of cardio, 2 minutes of strength, 1 minute of abs. The video says you can lose up to 20 pounds in 30 days. Anyway, I came downstairs, went to On Demand and the Fitness TV features were grayed out! WTH
I ended up using my Wii Fit. It was fun, but I really need about an hour for Wii Fit to be effective and I only had time for 30 minutes. I called Comcast and they scheduled a service call as there were no known issues. When I came home at lunch On Demand was working.
This evening while sitting around watching TV I decided to get off my butt and did Wii Fit for about 30 minutes. Now I feel good about getting back on a workout routine. My plan is to get up at 5:30am Friday and do 30 Day Shred. I figure I'll do every other day to start and work up to every day. I'm sore from tonight.

Friday Fitness Tip
So for the Wii Fit Mommies Forum challenge today I need to post a Friday Fitness Tip. If you work out in the morning you should eat a banana before working out. The potassium boosts your energy and helps you burn more calories. You should also drink water while working out to keep yourself hydrated.
That being said, I am ready to start working out on my Wii Fit regularly. My goal for the month of February will be to work out at least 3 days a week. More would be great, but I have to start somewhere.

I Won!

I'm so excited! On Wii Fit Mommies they are having a daily contest this week to introduce users to the forum. Monday and Tuesday nights I logged on and did the scavenger hunt to find the clues then posted my thread. Well, this morning I got a message from Julie that I won yesterday's prize (see picture above). This is definitely helping to motivate me to get on the Wii Fit.
Just had to post real quick before I head back to work.
