Where Did March Go?

Is it just me or did this month fly by? We were so busy I rarely sat in front of the computer or picked up my tablet. Social media happened from the phone.

The 2nd week of the military diet was our last. It kick started our metabolisms like I hoped, but we were both irritable. Not a good thing to be.

We've had a few weeks of not eating right and minimal exercise. All of that changes Monday. I'd love an excuse to get a new swim sit this year.

Our amazing Miss Liberty turned 11 this month. We had a fantastic family day filled with great food, Oz, the Great and Powerful, cupcakes, and Build-A-Bear. She had a sleep over with 6 friends and there was no drama.

The tenant is due to move Saturday. I'm excited to change the locks on that house and get someone new in it. I swear if they don't move this weekend I am not responsible for my actions.

Oops....I Did It Again

I tend to get so busy lately that I neglect my blog. It's been since January since I've written anything. Once we finally got over being sick it seems like things really picked up at work. I was very busy trying to make my goal for the March start. I was close, but did not make it. The school surpassed our total market plan though.

When the new quarter started our campus started its first bachelor program in Project Management. My hubby is one of the students. I am so proud of him for finally going back to school for his bachelor's. I've been after him about it since I received my master's in 2005. It's a challenge, but with the help of our amazing friends we will make it through the next two years.

February was busy with Mardi Gras. My society's ball was wonderful. We had a great time this year. I'm really looking forward to next year already.

In March Liberty turned 9. My baby is growing up so fast. We had an ice cream party at Chill here in Mobile. It was something different and the kids had a lot of fun with the different flavors and toppings.

Now that April is here it's time for spring cleaning. We're slowly getting the house back in shape. Gabe has started on the back yard as well.

Another Week Gone, Another Year Older

Wednesday was my 33rd birthday. Last Saturday we went out to my favorite restaurant in Gulf Shores with my parents. I was totally slapped in the face by the age fairy when the host was the owner's son that I baby sat for from the time he was 6 months until about 10. He's now 21 and helping his dad run the restaurant. Man, did I feel O-L-D!!!!

I had a great birthday. Gabe took me to Mars Hill Cafe for lunch. I love their pesto pasta salad and their chicken salad. We then went to Sho Gun for dinner with Liberty and some friends. Their fried rice is awesome! It was a quiet birthday.

On Friday Gabe was off work. He went and bought steaks and grilled out that night. Yum!

Saturday I worked at AIDT. I think the lettuce was bad on the poboy I ate for lunch because my stomach didn't feel right the rest of the day. I didn't eat diner and I went to bed at 8:30pm.

Today Liberty and I are having a relaxing day. Neither one of us feels very good. Gabe went to Montgomery with the guys for the international car shootout. Next weekend is Pinks All Out so we're both going to that.

It was nice being off this week in the evenings, but our next 4 week session starts tomorrow. Making money for Christmas - woo-hoo!!!

Fabtabulous Friday Night

My interview at the American Heart Association went well. I hope to hear back from them soon. I really want the job and know I can do it well.

Yesterday was our friend Lori's 30th birthday. We went to Orange Beach and had dinner at Cafe Grazie. It was wonderful. Gabe and I shared the Grazie Cannelloni. It was stuffed with lobster, shrimp, crab and scallops, and topped with alfredo sauce. Later we went out with everyone. It was a blast. Something we don't normally do, especially with a six year old. She is staying with my parents for the weekend. This is the first "alone" time we've had in a while. This evening we're going to a casino in Biloxi with my Mardi Gras Society. It will be fun. Some of our best friends will be with.
